I read the trip to wonderland in third grade and it amazed me. Then I reread it after some time together with the second book by Lewis Carroll and at 25 I illustrated the first book. For a long time I was stuck in wonderland and made some pen drawings on the adventures of through the mirror.
After 25 years, at my current age of 50, I took up all the pencils, chalks, bends and bic drawings that I developed over the years and I redesigned them with the graphic tablet, joining together pieces of adventures, as in the recomposition of a dream, without rereading the texts, and mixing colors and characters.
So this Wonderland came to light, like a patchwork tablecloth, with the best pieces that my memory remembers of Carroll’s two brilliant books.
